Provider Vetting Report: Leeline Sourcing

Last reviewed 2026-07-08 ยท Sample v1 ยท Prepared by VettedSourcing

Verdict first

Leeline Sourcing is a long-running full-service sourcing agency (it claims 10 years and 2,000+ clients) whose public footprint is overwhelmingly self-authored content marketing. We found no significant scam pattern โ€” but we also found remarkably little independent evidence for a company this visible. Its search dominance is manufactured, not earned through third-party review.

Not a red flag, but not yet a green one: treat their claims as unverified marketing until the due-diligence basics check out.

What we checked

CheckResultLevelEvidence
Years active โœ“ Active since at least 2018 E2 Reddit posting history (u/leelinesourcing, Oct 2018 onward โ€” directly inspected)
Third-party risk scan โœ“ "Likely trustworthy" E1 ScamAdviser automated assessment
Independent reviews โš ๏ธ Thin relative to claimed scale E1 Trustpilot listing exists; low volume for a "2,000+ client" agency
Chinese business registration โณ In progress โ€” Official registry deep-dive (company age, registered capital, legal status, insured headcount). Completed in every commissioned report.
Export records โณ In progress โ€” US customs shipment history โ€” does real export volume match the marketing? Completed in every commissioned report.
Mystery inquiry test ๐Ÿ”„ Strong first round โ€” see below E3 Archived correspondence, 2026-07-08; sender domain verified (SPF/DKIM/DMARC pass)
Evidence levels: E3 behavior-tested (our own tests) ยท E2 document-verified (authoritative or public records we inspected) ยท E1 third-party (independent, unreviewed) ยท E0 self-reported (the company's own claims). Verdicts are driven by E2/E3 only โ€” E0 marketing claims never move a rating.

What the mystery inquiry found (E3)

We contacted Leeline as a real small-store buyer and graded the exchange:

Watch items

  1. Reddit presence is ~100% self-posted. Nearly every Reddit mention of Leeline is content published by the company's own account โ€” educational marketing with almost zero organic engagement. Genuine third-party threads are rare and unanswered.
  2. They run the "review the competitors" SEO play. Leeline publishes its own "reviews" of competing agents โ€” the same conflicted-listicle pattern that makes this industry impossible to research on Google.
  3. One documented service complaint: a reviewer reported weeks of delay acknowledging that shipped samples were missing from a box. Isolated, service-quality-level, not fraud-level.
  4. Big claims, small evidence: "2,000+ clients helped" is unverifiable from any public source we could find (E0 โ€” self-reported).

Points in their favor

Before you wire money โ€” ask these

Whatever agent you end up using, these five questions close the gaps this report can't close from the outside:

  1. "Which factory will actually produce my order?" โ€” name and address. A refusal to disclose the factory is where hidden kickbacks live.
  2. "Send me your business license." โ€” then check the registered entity, capital and insured headcount match the team they claim. (We do this check in Chinese official records.)
  3. Corporate bank account only. Payment must go to the registered company's account โ€” never to a personal WeChat, Alipay or private card.
  4. "Itemize every fee in writing." Commission % plus each extra โ€” and ask directly: "Do you receive any rebate from the factory?" Watch how they answer.
  5. "What happens if bulk doesn't match the sample?" Agree the inspection step and the remedy before the deposit, not after.
The bottom line on Leeline: probably a legitimate mid-size agency โ€” but "probably" is exactly the problem this report exists to fix. The gap between marketing visibility and independent verification is the widest we've seen so far. The verdict will move only when E2/E3 checks move it.

Scope & independence

This report states facts with evidence levels; it does not guarantee any commercial outcome, and a verdict is not a recommendation to buy or not buy. We never sell sourcing, fulfillment or inspection services ourselves โ€” we only verify the companies that do, and no company can pay to change a rating. Factual corrections from the company reviewed are welcome and are assessed against evidence, not seniority.
